Vision
Doulos Partners is a missions foundation that strives to be the most stellar partnering organization in the world. We build relationships with serious minded people who are all about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Doulos is a Greek word in scripture that means slave, bondservant, or indentured slave. A Christian being a true slave to the Master, Jesus Christ, is sold out and fully committed to carrying out His commandments. Doulos is the very description of the kind of partners for which we are looking.
Last words matter! The Lord’s last words to us in Matthew 28:18-20 say, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” He goes on to say in Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” He has commanded us to go, and go we must. Doulos Partners will execute this with a passion, with great inspiration from the Father, and with a complete dedication to the task.
We are all about entering into partnerships with ordinary people who carry an extraordinary vision and maintain a high accountability. So how does it work? We build relationships with “doulos” people within the United States who are completely committed to give and who yearn to go around the world spreading the gospel. We then locate mission organizations that are already established on the ground and are successfully sharing the story of Christ in order to partner with them to achieve greatness for the Lord. Why would we want to reinvent the wheel when there are already wheels turning but just need a little more fuel? Our focus for carrying out the last words of Jesus is through church planting. One hundred percent of who we are and what we do is carried out by planting and supporting church plants throughout the world. We do that by training nationals who are called to pastor, supplying financial resources to support them, and doing ministry projects (construction, vacation Bible school, medical clinics, neighborhood events, etc) that grow the ministry of each and every church founding.
We, at Doulos Partners, are convinced that the best way to advance the kingdom is through starting churches and then maintain our support and relationship with them. After three to four years, when the church has become self supportive, we wish to further our efforts in working with our friends to plant other churches that will also reach the lost and then become a launching pad for many future church beginnings. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to take part in planting hundreds of churches, and to witness the thousands of people who come to Christ through our development of partnerships.
