Area Director – Profile
Demonstrates strength of character in the following attributes: Integrity, Humility, Self-starter, Flexible, Servant Leader, Patience, Maintains Confidentiality, Team Player, Energetic, Reliable, Dependent on God, and Displays a positive attitude. Single minded not focused on this world; looking for an opportunity to do Kingdom work. This person is in a position to transition to working for God’s mission. Perhaps they have read “Half-Time” and desire to follow God’s calling in this manner. Deacon /Elder type qualifications (Lead by the Spirit) Has been, is going or wants to go on mission trips in the future. Regular church attendee, tithes, has served in a leadership capacity. This person is currently engaged in some ministry. Willingly gives their personal testimony with passion and conviction.
Would be more concerned about saving souls than a paycheck. This person demonstrates maturity and is a builder and investor in people. Has experience in organizing and energizing a team around a cause. This person is an effective communicator. This person will need to be a good fit for our benchmark
SCOPE of Work for Doulos Partners as Area Director:
The Area Director (AD) will serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all Partner development within their designated area. Potential Partner investments that could come from a source outside your designated territory must be pre-coordinated with the Executive Director or his designated representative to determine how Doulos plans to proceed.
The Area Director will: · Be responsible to maintain a close personal walk with the Lord. Without Him we can do nothing. Doulos above all else must be an organization surrendered to the Will of the Lord as led by the Spirit.
· Perform all functions as described below within the assigned area. You are expected to be the face of Doulos in your area. You are expected to share the heart and soul of the purpose of the ministry.
· Tell the story of Doulos’ opportunity for supporting Pastors and new international church plants with everyone. Your primary opportunities will be with individuals and churches, and then present to mission focused groups, and other corporate entities.
· Build a Local Advisory Board (LAB) to assist you in your Annual Fund Raising Event. If your area allows for multiple event planning locations, you may need to develop multiple LABs to assist you. Our focus is on one gala fund raising event per year.
· Develop a network of committed Partners than know the Doulos vision and support the passion of Christ for the lost. You’re expected to keep your network informed and involved.
· Be responsible for collecting, safeguarding, and depositing the Partner investments for Doulos. You are expected to document all required information and records, and report them to Doulos Corporate as requested.
· You set your own schedule, however, you will be 100% accountable to the Executive Director or his representative for developing your area of investing Partners.
· Attend all Doulos training sessions, conferences, and other corporate requirements.
