This month, instead of spotlighting a story from the field, we’re celebrating how God is at work right here at home through the growing community of believers who share our passion for reaching the unreached.
Recently, Doulos Partners had the joy of gathering with supporters, friends, and new faces at Globe Life Stadium in Dallas, Texas. In addition to a wonderful evening of baseball, it was also a powerful reminder that when God’s people unite under a shared mission, eternal impact follows.
Read on to see how one unforgettable night strengthened relationships, sparked new commitments, and set the stage for even greater Gospel reach around the world.
Doulos Partners Texas Rangers Event 2025
Globe Life Stadium~ Dallas, Texas

On September 23rd, 2025, Doulos Partners had the incredible opportunity to tell the Doulos story for the first time to a packed room of mission-oriented believers. A few months ago, six heavily invested and committed donors and investors of Doulos chose to become spear-headers in Dallas, Texas, with a single purpose... putting 50 like-minded Great Commission-forging Christians. We were eager to tell how Doulos Partners is united in mission to spread the Gospel to every corner of the earth by empowering the indigenous through our strategic partnerships to make disciples who will plant healthy, sustainable, reproducing churches in every village, everywhere. It is all about taking the Gospel further and faster to the ends of the earth. David Johnson, Founder and CEO, presented who we are and what we do, the problem to solve, and how Doulos plans to be a part of solving it. We had a fabulous turnout with almost 50 in attendance, and words cannot express how thankful we are that each person there was enthusiastic about what the Lord is doing in and through Doulos.
After the presentation was complete, we had a sweet time of fellowship and relationship building as we watched the Rangers game together. Nathan McDivitt, our Director for Development for the Southeast, did an amazing job heading up our Doulos event and reports, "At one point, I looked around our Party Suite and every Doulos staff member there was engaged in meaningful conversations with potential new ministry supporters”. The evening was a perfect mix of baseball excitement and meaningful insights into how joining the Doulos family can move the needle in expediting our vision to plant healthy, sustainable, reproducing churches in every village, everywhere. Many are preparing their next steps through future conversations and prayer to join the Doulos mission, and some even made prayer, financial, and even recurring commitments before the final strikeout of the game.
We want to give a huge Thank You to Mitch Moreland, a Doulos Donor and Investor, and a former 12-year veteran MLB first baseman, respected 7-year Texas Ranger, and 2017 Boston Red Sox World Series winner, for being a part of our event. He interviewed with David Johnson, CEO, during our presentation, spent time chatting with attendees, telling them more about Doulos and the value our ministry brings to the Great Commission, and he
invited his long-time friend, Elvis Andrus, Former Texas Rangers MLB player, two-time All Star, and Texas Rangers Hall of Famer to come spend time with the Doulos staff and attendees in our Party Suite. It was wonderful to have Elvis join us in our suite for about an hour to learn more about Doulos, get to know our event attendees, and take photos alongside Mitch Moreland with fans before getting back to his scheduled television spots. The greatest thanks is to the Lord for blessing this event, and we cannot wait to see what He will do with it.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” 1 Corinthians 3:6 (NKJV).
If we walk in the footsteps of Paul, God will be faithful to bring the increase.
Until All Have Heard!
